MAIN ACCORDS + NOTES

Main Accord 

  • A scent that consists of several notes and gives an overall, general description of the perfume scent

Notes: 

  • A singular and specified ingredient with a more unique scent



Main Accords | Top Notes Heart Notes / Base Notes


Top Notes:

  • First Impression notes of the fragrance. Typically include citrus accords such as lemon and orange or floral accords such as lavender, rose.

  • Duration:  5-15 Minutes

Heart Notes:

  • Acts as a buffer between Top Notes and Base Notes. Combines with Top Notes aroma to add more meaning, while also blending with Base Notes which are too rich on their own. Typically involves notes such as jasmine, neroli, cinnamon and pepper.

  • Duration: 20-minutes to 4 hours

Base Notes:

  • The Body and foundation of the fragrance. These are the notes that will add more depth to the fragrance, while blending with lighter notes from Heart Notes. Typically involves notes such as vanilla, amber, patchouli and sandalwood.

  • Duration: 4 Hours +

FRAGRANCE CONCENTRATION

Parfum

  • >20% of concentrated perfume oil
  • Last up to 6-24 hours


EDP = Eau de Parfum 

  • 15-20% concentrated perfume oil
  • Last up to 4-8 Hours

    EDT = Eau de Toilette

    • 5-15% concentrated perfume oil
    • Last up to 2-4 Hours

    EDC = Eau de Cologne

    • 2-5% concentrated perfume oil
    • Last up to 2 Hours

    EDF = Eau Fraiche

    • 1-3% concentrated perfume oil
    • Last up to 2 Hours
